Kate Middleton embarrasses Meghan Markle 'on the world stage'

It is being reported that Meghan Markle is spiralling over Kate Middleton’s first solo trip after her cancer recovery.

For those unaware, Kate began her overseas work trips with a two-day visit to Italy from May 13 to May 14. Her last international tour was in October 2023 to Marseille, France, and her last major royal tour was to Boston, Massachusetts, with Prince William in December 2022.

She stepped back from touring to maintain a stable life for her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, whom she shares with her husband, Prince William, the Prince of Wales. Following an undisclosed type of cancer and major abdominal surgery in January 2024, the Princess of Wales completely stopped foreign engagements.

Now, Radar Online reported that Meghan is furious to see Kate’s carefully choreographed display of "fashion diplomacy" during her first solo international tour in four years.

The Princess of Wales landed in Italy wearing a cornflower-blue Edeline Lee suit paired with a Holland Cooper blouse and Asprey handbag, while the Duchess of Sussex’s four-day unofficial visit to Australia in mid-April drew criticism, as she earned commissions from the outfits she donned to memorial and charity events by putting links on OneOff, an AI retail platform she invests in.

An insider told the outlet, “Meghan is said to be absolutely furious about the comparisons being drawn between her and Kate because she feels the palace and royal insiders are once again using Catherine's public image to subtly undermine and embarrass her on the world stage.”

"From Meghan's perspective, every time Kate steps out for one of these carefully orchestrated tours, the narrative immediately becomes about dignity, duty, and elegance, while Meghan gets painted as fame-hungry or overly commercial,” the source stated.

Also, what is bothering the Duchess of Sussex the most is her public image, as people have started to believe that she “monetizes everything she touches,” whereas Kate “uses fashion for 'public service.’”

The insider quipped, "She feels that criticism is deeply unfair because she believes she's simply adapting to life outside the royal institution and building financial independence in a modern way."

"But she's aware that Catherine's Italy tour has reignited this image of the 'perfect future queen' quietly promoting British diplomacy while Meghan is portrayed as somebody turning royal-style appearances into business opportunities, and it has left her raging,” the source explained.
