Minnesota Timberwolves suffer total collapse against San Antonio Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs wasted no time in dominating the game from the get-go
In the playoffs, the San Antonio Spurs beat the Minnesota Timberwolves in a humiliating fashion by 139-109 in a Friday night game.
The match unfolded in front of fans in Minneapolis, showing the door to the Timberwolves from the post-season.
According to CBS, the Spurs headed into the game with a dominating backdrop.
In a game of 6, they were leading the series with a 3-2.
During the game, Stephon Castle, performed spectacularly – adding 32 points and 11 rebounds.
Victor Wembanyama, Castle's other team member, scored 19 points, helping the Spurs to deliver a stunning blow to the Timberwolves.
In contrast, Anthony Edwards tried his best to keep Minnesota afloat; however, reportedly lack of support from his team diminished his 24 points.
Not to mention, Rudy Gobert had a terrible night, with 0-for-4 marking one of his worst performance, ending up with zero points when the match ended.
Now, the Spurs are heading into the Western Conference Finals, where they will lock horns with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
