Who is Frances Tiafoe’s girlfriend Ayan Broomfield? Meet the Canadian former tennis player

Frances Tiafoe has enjoyed plenty of success on the tennis court, with longtime girlfriend Ayan Broomfield supporting him throughout his career.

The couple have been together since September 2015 after meeting through fellow tennis player Victoria Duval.

Broomfield, born in Ontario, Canada, in 1997, also pursued a tennis career and reached world No. 467 in women’s doubles before playing college tennis at Clemson University and UCLA.

At UCLA, Broomfield and Gabby Andrews won the NCAA doubles championship in 2019. She also made her WTA debut in 2014.

Broomfield later worked as a body double for Saniyya Sidney, who portrayed Venus Williams in the 2021 film King Richard.

Tiafoe previously revealed that their romance began after he contacted Broomfield on Instagram.

“You know, Instagram these days and, you know, I slid in her DMs,” he said during a 2018 press conference.

Broomfield has remained a vocal supporter of Tiafoe’s career. When he entered the world’s top 10 in 2023, she wrote on Instagram: “TOP 10 IN THE WORLD!”

“I started taking screenshots of different moments and accomplishments a few years ago in anticipation of this day ... I am so proud of you,” she added.
