Over the years, the trend of eating out has gained immense popularity. Well, the good news is that recently, Golden Chick, a Texan chain, launched its first outlet in the food court of Dolmen Mall, Clifton, Karachi. Pakistan is the first country outside the US where the chain has opened its franchise. That sounds great right!
The launch event was attended by high level business and social dignitaries of the city. The US Consul General Mr. Brian Heath was the chief guest. The Food Court was elaborately decorated in black and gold - the signature colours of eatery - and guests were treated to freshly prepared delicious samples of Golden Chick’s unique menu items.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Naim Anwar Crescent of Star Foods & Crescent Star Insurance stated, “We are pleased to announce the launch of the first ever franchise in Pakistan. Pakistan has a high demand for chicken and we feel that this restaurant will offer our consumers a great menu, high level of service, and overall feel that will appeal to Pakistani taste buds.”
Well, the menu is quite tempting too. The restaurant offers fried chicken, chicken tenders and roast chicken along with a wide range of unique side items. The eatery is known in the US for its signature Golden Tenders(r), a marinated chicken tenderloin that is hand-battered and cooked to a delicious golden perfection.
