Given recent stories about SRK being in talks with Imtiaz Ali for a potential collaboration, the news is now finally confirmed. SRK has signed a film with Imtiaz. And the actress who will join him in this particular film will be Anushka Sharma, who is also starring in Karan Johar’s intense love saga, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
According to reports, Sharma was approached for the film and is keen to do the role. While Khan plays the role of a turbaned Sikh tourist in the untitled comedy, nothing is known of Sharma’s role in the film, as of yet. The film will be shot in London and parts of Punjab and is supposedly based on Khan’s interaction with the people there and his adventurous return to his hometown.
This is the first time Sharma has signed a film with Ali; however, this will be Khan and Sharma’s third outing together. The two have earlier shared the screen in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The shooting for the film will begin once the two stars get done with their current commitments.
