“We saw the film a day before for censorship and I was completely blown away by its simplicity. It is thorough entertainment and if I may say, it is the best amongst those Pakistani films that Vox has distributed in the UAE. I am sure the business will catch up via word of mouth,” said Ravi Mansukhlal, Marketing Manager Vox Distribution.
Bachaana is an adventurous journey of an Indian girl falling for a Pakistani taxi driver in Mauritius and the series of unfortunate encounters that follow. The fact that Sanam has a huge fan following in the Indian expat community because of her serials like Mera Naseeb and Zindagi Gulzar Hai which received the maximum TRPs on Zee Zindagi will help the audience flowing into cinema houses.
Mohib, who is looking fitter than ever before and has acted really well in the film said to Instep that “it’s pure and clean entertainment and in just few bucks, you get to travel across Mauritius with us. Of all the films I have seen, this is one of the best shot films and I am sure people will love it if they watch it in cinemas”.
The lead pair’s striking chemistry, the comic timing and witty one-liners provide ample opportunity to whistle and clap. The fact that there is no major Bollywood release scheduled for this week will help the business of the film.
Momina and Duraid Qureshi were also present at the premiere in Dubai. The film is releasing across the world tomorrow and we wish the entire team of Bachaana all the very best.
