KABUL: A key leader of the Haqqani network was killed in a drone attack in Paktika on Thursday.
According to details, the man was identified as Sirajuddin Khadmi. Afghan authorities stated that Sirajuddin had been killed in a drone strike in Kabul. He was responsible for providing logistic support to militants and fighters.

Meanwhile according to the Afghan Ministry of Defence, two operations in Nangarhar province and Ghazni province also yielded fruitful results as multiple terrorists were killed.
In the Nangarhar province operation, 5 terrorists were killed and in the Ghazni operation, 7 militants were killed in air strikes, as per the Afghan Ministry of Defence.
