MITHI: One more child died of malnutrition in Tharparkar, raising the death toll to 234 in the current year.
The newborn baby girl died at Mithi hospital Saturday, where over 43 more children are being treated.
According to National Commission for Human Rights investigative report, especially compiled on the Children’s deaths, the 76% population of Tharparkar Sindh was lacking the nutrition and other basic facilities of life.
It clearly mentioned shortage of nutrition, unavailability of clean drinking water and lack of awareness regarding drought in area was the main cause of children deaths.
