India 319-6 in second Sri Lanka Test

Colombo: India, electing to bat, were 319-6 at stumps on the opening day of the second Test against Sri Lanka at the P. Sara Oval in Colombo on Thursday.

Opener Lokesh Rahul scored 108 and skipper Virat Kohli made 78, the pair sharing a third-wicket stand of 164 runs after the tourists were reduced to 12-2.

Sri Lanka lead the three-match series after winning the first Test in Galle by 63 runs.
