First spell of monsoon begins as twin cities, KP receive rainfall

ISLAMABAD/PESHAWAR: Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Swabi, Malakand, Kohat, Hazara division and Kashmir have received intermittent rainfall since overnight giving respite to people from protracted hot weather.

The Met department said that the first spell of monsoon rain has started and more rain is expected in Sargodha division, Gujranwala division and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In Islamabad 13 millimeter rain was recorded on Thursday morning.

The Met department said that the first spell of monsoon rain has started and more rain is expected in Sargodha division, Gujranwala division and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In Islamabad 13 millimeter rain was recorded on Thursday morning.

Cloudy weather is expected in Quetta and Karachi, while the temperature in Karachi is likely to reach 35 degree centigrade.
