ECP will decide if rigging took place in NA-122

LAHORE: The judge tasked with probing irregularities for the Election Tribunal investigating alleged rigging in NA-122 said on Saturday that several seals of vote bags were broken.

Judge Malik Ghulam Hussain Awan in his statement recorded for the tribunal said Forms 14 and 15 were not present in many of the bags. Awan further said that over 30,000 counter foils

LAHORE: The judge tasked with probing irregularities for the Election Tribunal investigating alleged rigging in NA-122 said on Saturday that several seals of vote bags were broken.

Judge Malik Ghulam Hussain Awan in his statement recorded for the tribunal said Forms 14 and 15 were not present in many of the bags. Awan further said that over 30,000 counter foils did not have stamps or seals.

Awan added that it is up to the tribunal now to consider rejecting the 30,000 votes or not and deciding if rigging had taken place in NA-122

The hearing has been adjourned till January 31.
