ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) on Tuesday condemned publishing of blasphemous caricatures by a French magazine.

The Foreign Office is writing a letter to Orginsation of Islamic States (OIC) seeking action and an apology from the French magazine.

In a statement issued here, the Foreign Office said the sentiments of Muslims around the world had been hurt when the blasphemous caricature was published. FO spokeswoman Tasneen Aslam said the publication was an attempt to divide nations and civilizations.

The spokeswoman added the letter being written to the OIC calls on Muslim nations to adopt a course of action against this act.
