CHITRAL: A local leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has asked the federal government to allow the foreign principal of the Langland School and College to return to Pakistan.
“Some elements working to promote their vested interests are creating hurdles to the return of Carey Schofield,” PML-N local leader Irshad Javed told a group of reporters here.
A number of party activists were also present on the occasion. He said that Langland School and College was established to provide quality education to the students.
Irshad Javed added that though the standard of education at the institution had deteriorated after the retirement of Sir GD Langland, Carey Schofield from United Kingdom had re-organised it.
