BANNU: Two persons were killed while a woman was found dead in the district on Wednesday, official sources said. They said that one Hamidullah was on his way home in the limits of Ghuriwala Police Station when unidentified gunmen fired at him, killing him on the spot. Motive behind the killing could not be ascertained.
Meanwhile, the police recovered body of a woman from the fields in Mir Wali Killay. The police shifted the body to the District Headquarters Hospital in Bannu for autopsy where she was identified as Nadia, daughter of Abdul Hai. On the complaint of the deceased’s father Abdul Hai, the police registered the case against her husband Nadir, Inayatullah and Khan Gul.
In another incident, Jadoon and Inayatullah allegedly shot dead Muhammad Sajid over a petty issue in the limits of Mandan Police Station. The police registered separate cases and started investigation.
