I-Day ceremony held at Viqar-un-Nisa College

A celebration was arranged at Government Viqar-un-Nisa Postgraduate College (w), Rawalpindi, to revive the spirit of Independence Day of Pakistan.
In this regard, college teaching and non-teaching staff gathered at College Auditorium at 8 a.m. A graceful flag hoisting ceremony was conducted in a very cheerful atmosphere. Flowers were sprinkled and slogans were raised by the college staff and students. Later in college hall, inspirational speeches and motivational national songs were sung by the students to celebrate the occasion. Students as well as the teaching faculty enlightened the students about the historical event. Principal Professor Dr. Saira Mufti also addressed the gathering and shared her views on Pakistan Independence Day.
