Interfaith Peace Mission organises conference today

Islamabad: Universal Interfaith Peace Mission, the award winning Pakistan-based organisation (for Peace and Harmony) is going to organise a one-day Welcome Conference at Islamabad Hotel on Tuesday, says a press release.
Ambassador of Royal Embassy of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Nawaf Khalifeh Saraireh will be the chief guest, while Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid will preside over the ceremony, which will begin at 2:00 p.m. and continue till 6 p.m.
Universal Interfaith Peace Mission Founder and Global Chairman Dr Allama Abul Fateh GR Chishti will shed light on ‘A common Word between Us and You’ and ‘Amman Message’. Senior journalists, Sardar Khan Niazi, Mehtab Khan and Lifetime General Secretary of All Pakistan Newspaper Hawkers Federation Tikka Khan Abbasi will also attend the ceremony.
It merits mentioning here, that Universal Interfaith Peace Mission, headed by Dr Allama Abul Fateh GR Chishti was awarded first prize at the King Abdullah II of Jordan Award for World Interfaith Harmony Week 2015 thus bringing a great honour for Pakistan, a country which has been plagued by violence and unrest during recent past.
Dr Allama Abul Fateh GR Chishti has been working diligently for peace and harmony among followers of different faiths and he has described the award not only a recognition of his work for interfaith harmony, but on general a laurel for Pakistani nation. He has hoped the one-day ‘Welcome Conference’ will pave the way for spreading ‘A common Word between Us and You’ and ‘Amman Message’ in Pakistan.
