The Rootsians swept top prizes in Art and IQ Contests organised by the Pakistan Competition Authority (PCA) with three students winning Rs15,000 cash prizes, 2 students winning PC tablets and others receiving special awards and Oxford dictionaries.
The annual Art & IQ Contests highlighted creativity, intelligence and imagination of every student. The Rootsians clinched maximum awards and won gold medals and cash prizes.
The students were required to draw, paint or show via any other artistic medium how their local community is unique.
The students of more than 100 schools participated in the contests from all over Pakistan. The Roots International Schools received maximum prizes, cash prizes and gold medals.
The IQ test was a standardised way of comparing the intelligence ability of students of same ages.
Roots International Schools CEO Walid Mushtaq appreciated the efforts of the coordinators and congratulated the students. While speaking to the parents and faculty, he said, “The faculty of Roots International Schools aims to motivate the child so that he realises his potential and does not feel demotivated. We strive to provide children with proper guidance to ensure that each and every child is provided with equal opportunities to grow as an individual and as the future professional.”
