Tevta to launch short courses

Tevta, on the recommendations of Industry, will introduce demand-driven short courses in different sectors. These courses will be launched soon in selected Tevta institutes.
It was stated by Tevta Chairperson Irfan Qaiser Shaikh while addressing a meeting to review the progress to start new demand-driven courses, according to a press release issued here on Wednesday. Chief Operating Officer Jawwad Ahmed Qureshi, General Managers Engr. Azhar Iqbal Shad, Hamid Ghani Anjum, Abdul Qayyum, Akhtar Abbas Bharwana and other officers were also present on this occasion. Irfan Qaiser Shaikh said that Tevta would offer six-month duration short courses, including Meat Technology, Poultry Workers, Capsule Manufacturing Machine Operator, Tablet Manufacturing Machine Operator, Injection Moulding Machine Operator and three-month short course in Computerised Multi-Head Industrial Embroidery Machine Operator. The course contents of these courses have been developed by Tevta with the consultation of relevant industry/experts.
