Gas supply restored to southern districts, parts of Punjab

KARAK: Supply of natural gas was restored to southern districts and some parts of Punjab province by the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) after disconnection of illegal gas connections in the district on Friday.
A spokesman for SNGPL for southern districts, Raza Khan Khattak, confirmed that gas supply had been restored to various areas of the district and Punjab on completion of repair after 72 hours.
He said residents of Kanda Karak, Kanda Bajikhel and other areas had taken illegal gas connections from the main transmission line at six different points. The company spokesman appealed to the people to abstain from taking illegal gas connections from the main transmission line.
