LAHORE: Despite a ban on kite-flying in the provincial capital, violation of the law was witnessed in Cantt Division police area here on Thursday.
Enthusiasts of the sport were spotted flying kites in various areas of the Cantt Division police. Areas where citizens violated the ban include Mughalpura, Factory Area, Mustafabad, Harbanspura, Ghaziabad, Batapur and North Cantt. The sky was dotted with colorful kites in the said areas and it seemed that the Punjab government had announced basant in the Cantt Division police. Ironically, the police did not respond to the violators and had been playing ‘corona corona’.
