ISLAMABAD: Two PTI leaders in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sunday joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will soon visit Azad Jammu and Kashmir to lead the election campaign himself, as the PPP will win the elections and form its government in AJK,” said President PPP Women Wing Faryal Talpur at a function here where Sardar Zahid Iqbal Advocate from LA-34 Jammu 1 and Ishtiaq Ahmad Bukhari announced their joining the PPP.
PPP Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, PPP Azad Kashmir General Secretary Faisal Mumtaz Rathore and Sardar Ayub were also present on the occasion.
Faryal Talpur said the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was the only political leader, who was raising his voice for a referendum on the demands of Kashmiris.
She said just as Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari did not disappoint the Kashmiris, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto would also not disappoint them. She said time had proved that Bilawal Bhutto's stance on Modi was realistic.
“The Kashmir issue will be resolved,” she added. She said Prime Minister Imran Khan should apologize to the nation for his statement.
She said the freedom of the people of Occupied Kashmir was their basic and democratic right adding that India could not keep its aggressive occupation of occupied Kashmir for long.
