LAHORE:A coronavirus vaccination centre was inaugurated at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) here on Thursday.
UET Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar and DC Lahore Mudassar Riaz Malik inaugurated the centre which will provide free vaccinations to UET employees, their families and students. The centre has four desks each for registration, screening and vaccination while there will also be four beds. A doctor and 60 qualified vaccination staff will also be present in the centre. A UET spokesperson said that a rescue team will also be present at the centre along with the first aid kit to deal with any emergency situation while an ambulance will also be stationed at the centre. DDO Health Shalimar Town Dr Saqib Wattoo, AC Shalimar Town Dr Mansoor Qazi, Registrar UET M Asif and other faculty and staff of the university were also present on the occasion.
