This refers to the article, 'Don’t beg, just tax the wealthy' (April 2). The writer is mistaken in assuming that Imran Khan is a rich man. A look at the PM's last year's tax returns reveals that he paid the equivalent of fifty dollars a month as income tax.
This makes him perhaps the poorest prime minister in the world. Asking him to donate a hundred million rupees is not fair, it would mean selling practically all his property, including his palatial house and agricultural land.
