Donkeys’ heads, offal found in Clifton

The heads and offal of three donkeys were found in the upscale neighbourhood of Clifton on Friday.

According to police, three heads and the offal of the donkeys were found in a garbage dump near the Driving License Branch in Clifton.

Police said they were making efforts to ascertain who were involved in dumping the heads and the offal of the donkeys, most probably last night, in the garbage dump. An investigation was under way to learn that if the meat of the dead animals was sold in the market, police added.

Police said they were questioning the locals, and added that some foreigners were also living in the neighbourhood from where the remains of the dead animals were found.

Man dies in road crash

A man died in a road accident near KDA Chowrangi in North Nazimabad. Responding to information, rescuers reached the scene and transported the victim to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he died. The deceased was identified as 22-year-old Azhar Mehmood. Police said the accident took place when a vehicle hit a motorcycle.
