Student Council investiture ceremony held
Islamabad :The Islamabad Model College for F-7/2 held the investiture ceremony of Student Council 2019-20. Principal Dr. Balqees Nabbi and staff members welcomed the chief guest Aasma Sherazi.
The ceremony started with the recitation from the Holy Quran followed by na’at (PUBH). Ms Aasma took the oath of office from the newly-elected Student Council members. She distributed badges among the council office-holders.
The president of the outgoing Student Council Hanifa Javed handed over her charge to her successor, Balqees Bibi. The chief guest congratulated the newly- elected Student Council members. An alumnus of the school, she expressed delight at meeting her teachers. She highlighted the importance of student councils and student unions as the nurturing nursery for students.
Student Council president Balqees Bibi gave the vote of thanks on the stage. In the end, Principal Dr. Balqees Nabbi presented the college insignia to the chief guest.
