KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Karachi, has initiated an inquiry against the M/s Fazaia Housing Scheme, Karachi, a private housing society, to address the grievances of victims.
The spokesman for NAB Karachi said that the Bureau had requested to initiate a fresh inquiry against M/s Fazaia Housing Scheme, Karachi,and others. In view of huge number of victims i.e. 6,000 and involving an amount of Rs13 billion invested by the general public, the chairman NAB has been requested to initiate a fresh inquiry into the allegations of cheating public at large to provide relief to the victims of the above-mentioned housing scheme.
NAB will investigate how a private housing society was permitted to use the name of Fazaia. The NAB Karachi is determined to complete the inquiry at a fast pace and hold accountable all the persons involved. Further investigations are underway.
