No compromise on quality of material, construction work: Qamar Zaman

ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Qamar Zaman Chaudhry said on Thursday that there would be no compromise on quality of material and construction work of NAB headquarters.
The chairman said this while visiting the under construction site of the office building for National Accountability Bureau (NAB) headquarters at sector G-5/1. He reviewed the physical progress made on the ground and inspected the quality and construction work of under construction work of the new building of NAB headquarters. During the briefing, it was informed by DG NAB and PWD, Consultants and Contractor that in the light of the directions of the chairman NAB during his last visit on the under construction site, the construction work continues with full pace and structure of the basement, lower ground floor, ground floor, 1st floor, second floor, third floor and 4th floor have been completed as per schedule.
Brick work in basement, lower ground floor, ground floor, first pour slab 7 have almost completed, brick masonry plaster work, PCC works, fitting of glass and fixing of artificial granite, underground water interception system, aluminium foil fixing around basement and electrification work is under progress.
The chairman NAB directed that efforts should be made to complete the fifth floor as per schedule, ensuring all quality standards in accordance with PPRA rules as per schedule. Chaudhry directed DG NAB headquarters, DG, PWD, consultants and Contractor to complete the remaining construction work of the project according to the schedule.
