Sydney Sweeney video with Scooter Braun draws reactions from Taylor Swift fans, Trump supporters
Sydney Sweeney has been criticized after she shared a video with boyfriend Scooter Braun
Sydney Sweeney on Tuesday shared a video with her boyfriend Scooter Braun, sparking mixed reactions on social media.
The clip that the actress shared on Instagram Stories shows the couple kissing, diving and riding in the sea together, and dancing.
It has garnered millions of views on social media, with US President Donald Trump supporters criticizing Sydney Sweeney for dating Braun who opposed the Republican and openly supported Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
Some Taylor Swift fans were also not happy seeing Sydney Sweeny getting intimate with someone who had a long dispute with their favorite popstar.
Sydney Sweeney, 28, and Braun, 44, went public with their romance in recent months.
Scooter Braun, a Jewish-American executive, is credited for discovering Justin Bieber through YouTube videos.
The pair ended their professional relationship in 2023 as the Canadian singer sought more independence.
Swift's former label, Big Machine Records , was sold to Braun's company Ithaca Holdings for around $300 million.
This included the master recordings for her first six studio albums. Swift had long wanted to buy back her masters but felt blocked.
Swift publicly called the deal her "worst case scenario" and accused Braun of "incessant, manipulative bullying."
