The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) anti-encroachment department on Friday demolished Lakhpati Marriage Lawn on Nishtar Road, Garden.
The additional magistrate Karachi East was present at the spot along with police officials.
The operation was supervised by the director anti encroachment, Mazhar khan.
Sindh minister for the local government, Sharjeel Enam Memon, had instructed municipal bodies to remove all sorts of constructions on the enmity plots so that these could be used for public welfare.
KMC Administrator Saqib Ahmed Soomro also directed the anti encroachment department to gear the anti encroachment campaign.
