Democracy wins

The agreement between the PTI and the PML-N on the formation of a judicial commission is not victory or defeat of any party but in fact a victory of democracy. At the end of the day, democracy will emerge victorious. The formation of the judicial commission tells us that our politicians have learnt from their past mistakes and they can tackle their political problems on their own.
One hopes the commission will be successful in unmasking people involved in rigging the last elections. It is also hoped that it will be smooth sailing for democracy after this milestone. In addition, voters’ confidence over the election process will also be back. People should know that without voting and building confidence in the democratic setup we cannot stand among the progressive nations of the world.
