Court rejects police report of cancelling fraud case against MPA

SIALKOT: Civil Judge Imran Marth on Monday rejected the police report of cancelling registration of a fraud case against PML-N MPA Ch M Ikram, his son Faisal Ikram, his brother Abdul Rehman and nephew Adeel Rehman. The petition was filed by local businessman Mian Attiqur Rehman. The judge has also summoned all the four accused persons on Feb 28 for further legal proceedings. Ch Shamshad Bajwa advocate, counsel for Director Sialkot International Airport Mian Attique, said that MPA Ch Ikram and his accused relatives had fraudulently received more than Rs26 million from Attique by selling him a piece of land which was actually owned by the military authorities. He further told that a case was registered, on the orders of the court, against MPA Ch Ikram and other accused with the Civil Lines police station.
