DS-Concept, SDPT sign deal
KARACHI: DS-Concept Pakistan recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
The MoU was signed by SDPT Chairman Hanif Khan and DS-Concept Pakistan Managing Director Rafi-ul-Hasan in the presence of Sialkot Chamber President Zahid Malik, who was the guest of honour.
DS-Concept Pakistan Managing Director Rafi-Ul-Hasan said, “Under this arrangement, SDPT is responsible for the movement of the shipments from Sialkot to the sea-port in Karachi.
Hence, DS-Concept will offer 50 percent of the PSF quota to Sialkot exporters before sailing of their shipments once they hand over these to SDPT.”
The balance 50 percent quota would be paid to the exporters upon presentation of BL and the remaining balance would be paid upon collection of the invoice from the buyer, he said.
