GHALLANAI: The residents of Mohmand Agency on Wednesday asked Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra to honour his pledge of establishing education centre for special children.
Ziaullah Mohmand, Sajid Khan, Shahnawaz Mohmand and Mohmand Khan, president of a registered organisation for persons with disabilities 'Parwaz', said though there were 1200 disabled children, both girls and boys, in the total 0.6 million population of Mohmand Agency, there were no education or skill training centre. They said the governor had announced in 2016 that a special education centre would be established in each tribal region.
