Kh Asif’s daughter weds Justice Azmat’s nephew

ISLAMABAD: The daughter of Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif got married to nephew of Justice Azmat Saeed of Supreme Court in Lahore on Saturday.
Asif’s daughter Fatima got engaged to Sameer, son of Sultan Khan, a businessman family settled in the USA. Sources told The News that the engagement took place in the US late last year which was attended by Justice Azmat Saeed as well.
It was for the first time when Khawaja Asif met Justice Saeed, the sources added. Justice Saeed is the maternal uncle of son in law of Khawaja Asif. The engagement took place at a time when SC was hearing Panama Papers case and Justice Saeed was a member of the bench.
The function of nikkah has been performed while the Barat will be held today (Sunday) in Lahore.
