Shortage of water
Water is one of the basic needs for survival. Karachi is one of the biggest cities of the world. It homes a large number of population. It is unfortunate that the city is facing the worst water crisis. In summer, especially, taps go dry in several areas across the city, disturbing the lives of residents. Although the government is responsible for providing the uninterrupted supply of water, residents too show carelessness while using water. People who live in the areas that have ample supply of water use water carelessly.
The shortage of water causes multiple problems. It doesn’t only disturb the daily routines of people, but it also affects the country’s economy. Since Pakistan is an agriculture country, shortage of water affects crop production as well. The government must resolve this matter and alleviate the sufferings of residents.
