MANSEHRA: Three members of a family, including two brothers, were killed and six others sustained injuries when a passenger van plunged into a ravine near here on Wednesday.Police officials said the vehicle, carrying passengers, was on its way to Shinkiari from Nawazabad area of Siren valley, adding, the driver lost control over the steering while negotiating a sharp turn and the vehicle fell into the ravine.
The local people rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital. Those killed were identified as Syed Sadwar Shah, his brother Syed Mir Afzal Shah and his daughter-in-law. Three of the injured were referred to Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad after emergency treatment at the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital.
