Sound of silence
By our correspondents
September 04, 2016
This refers to the article, ‘Dangerous times and national disunity’ (September 2) by Ayaz Amir. We no longer need any enemy to distract and disturb us; we have sufficient resources and stock to destroy ourselves. By now there should have been protest processions, speeches and rallies against the US on account of the statement by US Secretary of State Kerry.
Our brothers and sisters are dying due to aggression by India in Held Kashmir but our media is busy focusing on Altaf. Our neighbours have turned hostile and are dancing to a common tune set by the US – and yet, the nation is quiet.
