Dried milk factory sealed
LAHORE
Punjab Food Authority sealed a factory of a big dried milk brand for serious violations of food laws on Wednesday.
A press release issued by PFA said a team led by Punjab Food Authority Director Operation Ayesha Mumtaz raided Millac Food (Pvt) Ltd in the Sundar Industrial Area and found there expired products, food storage in blue chemical drums and mixing of vegetable fat in instant milk powder.
It said that the company was also operating without a food licence. Following the violations, the Punjab Food Authority team sealed the factory.
In other raids, Punjab Food Authority teams sealed and imposed fine on Alsheikh Chanye Shop, ARY Catering, EFC Burger, Mashallah Milk Shop, Mama Sweets, Canteen of Wapda Hospital, Taya Lodhi Siri Paye, Yasir Hotel and Mourian International Beverages.
