LAHORE : Punjab Police conducted 231 raids across the province within 24 hours, arresting 136 drug peddlers, according to a police spokesperson.
During the crackdown, police recovered 73 kg of charas, 3 kg of ice, 4 kg of heroin, and 1,485 liters of alcohol. The operation is part of the ongoing drive against narcotics.
Meanwhile, Lahore Traffic Police have intensified their campaign against e-challan defaulters, recovering around 49,000 fines in just 20 days. A total of Rs30,783,947 has been deposited into the government treasury during the drive, including over Rs3.5 million from vehicles belonging to government institutions.
