Inter-district drug delivery attempt foiled

LAHORE:Raja Market outpost police foiled an inter-district drug delivery based on a tip-off. Two suspects—Babur and Mudassar—were arrested. They were using a fabric business as a front to supply drugs and had brought over 4 kg of ice valued at millions. During preliminary investigation, they admitted to supplying drugs via online orders across various provinces.

Two murdered in clash

In Batapur, a violent clash between relatives led to the deaths of 45-year-old Nabila and 17-year-old Janesha due to gunfire. Acting swiftly on SP Cantt’s orders, Batapur Police registered an FIR and arrested three named suspects: Nadeem, Owais, and Tariq. Forensic teams collected evidence and transferred the bodies to the morgue for autopsy.
