Case registered against PTI’s TMC chairman on court orders
A criminal case has been registered against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-affiliated Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) Chairman Gauhar Khattak following court orders.
The FIR was filed at the Shah Faisal Colony police station on the complaint of a citizen, Shumaila Tanveer. The case includes serious charges such as issuing death threats and forcibly occupying private property.
The FIR also names other individuals including Shabbir Ahmed, alias Farhan, Zulfiqar, Jameel Baloch and others.
The complaint alleged that Khattak not only vandalised her private property but also unlawfully seized it. In her statement, Shumaila also claimed that Khattak and his associates attacked her and used abusive language. Police have initiated an investigation into the case as per directives of a court.
