Lawyers of accused could not cross-examine witnesses, on which court imposed fine of Rs 5,000

ISLAMABAD: Judicial Magistrate Ahmed Shehzad Gondal has imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the accused for not cross-examining witnesses in the cases registered against PTI workers on November 26.

During the hearing, the lawyers of the accused could not cross-examine the witnesses, on which the court imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the accused and directed the lawyers to cross-examine them at the next hearing and adjourned the hearing till today (Saturday).
