PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) has deputed two more staff members at its Regi Model Town complaint cell to ensure the timely resolution of complaints.
These employees will perform duties in different shifts around the clock, making the complaint cell operational 24/7.This decision was made during a recent meeting between Pesco Chief Executive Officer Akhtar Hameed Khan and Arshad Aziz Malik of Daily Jang and The News.
During the meeting, Malik pointed to the shortage of staff at the Regi Model Town complaint cell. He said residents faced difficulties in case of electrical faults.Taking notice of the issue, the Pesco head decided to depute two more employees to the complaint cell and issued orders for the cell to remain active 24 hours a day so that quick action could be taken even during nighttime faults.
In addition, Malik raised the issue of reducing load management. The Pesco chief assured that effective summer policies were being implemented, which would lead to improvements in the electricity supply.
