Family of martyred police official given house

LAHORE:Punjab police has provided a house worth Rs13.5 million to the family of Constable Imtiaz Ahmed, who embraced martyrdom in 2024 due to firing by dacoits at a checkpoint during duty.
Sharing the details, the police spokesperson said that a house has been purchased in Azizabad area of Rahim Yar Khan as per preference of the martyr’s family. The family of martyred constable includes his parents, four brothers, and four sisters.
The Punjab government released the funds for the house due to special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid rich tribute to Shaheed Constable Imtiaz and said that he embraced martyrdom while performing his duties without caring for his own life.
