Plantation and cleanliness drive launched
PESHAWAR: Northwest General Hospital and Research Centre launched a plantation and cleanliness drive in collaboration with the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) to promote a healthier, cleaner, and greener environment.
The ceremony was attended by Mohammad Naeem Khan, director general PDA, Manzoor Yousaf, Malik Abul Latif Awan, chief executive of Alliance Healthcare Private Limited (AHL) and others.
Mehran Hayat, assistant manager of Occupational Health, Safety & Environment at NWGH, presented an overview of the initiative, emphasising Northwest’s dedication to environmental sustainability through various partnerships and MoUs.
The Guest of Honour, Mohammad Naeem Khan, appreciated the initiative and underscored the importance of sustained efforts in plantation and beautification across Peshawar. He encouraged collective action toward environmental preservation.Mohammad Junaid from SKMCH lauded the effort and called for wider collaboration to ensure a cleaner and greener future.
