Prince Harry backtracks on privacy fears for Princess Lilibet: Here’s why public saw her face amid Andrew drama

Ever since February 14th hit and Meghan Markle’s Instagram dropped the first clear image of Princess Lilibet and questions have started popping up, wondering why exactly the Sussexes decided now to share their daughter’s face for the very first time.

An insider has the answer it seems and has shared it with NewIdea.

In their view the reason for this move, especially considering what the British royal family is currently facing in the Andrew and Epstein saga is “a kind of compromise”.

The source also clarified that Meghan has shared this image with Prince Harry’s “expressed approval” in toe and there is “no way” it would have been done otherwise.

However, this also poses the biggest question, and that is ‘why now? When her extended family whom the tiny tot has met only once or twice is facing such a crisis that is even deepening calls for an abdication of her grandfather.

The most likely answer is a potential trips to the UK. Because as her father Harry “expects his security detail to be reinstated any day and he’s worried about the King’s health, so it’s now a big priority to take his kids home as soon as possible. That could be why he relented.”

But that family trip isn’t the only possible reason for the world to get more of the princess because he will also soon return, as early as September for the Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner & Awards.

According to the source, “that trip presents a good opportunity for the whole family to cross the Atlantic, if Meghan agrees. But there’s every chance that, now Meghan has had a win in terms of showing one of the children’s faces on social media, Harry may make the trip himself with the kids sooner rather than later.”
