UET launches Alumni Chapter in Saudi Arabia
LAHORE:The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has officially launched its Alumni Chapter in Saudi Arabia to unite its graduates residing in the Kingdom under a common platform.
According to details, this initiative aims to foster mutual networking among alumni, strengthen their connection with University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, and enhance collaboration in academic and professional spheres.
During the inauguration, the first executive body of the chapter was announced. UET Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Munir addressed the inaugural meeting through an online session and appreciated the formation of the chapter, calling it a positive and constructive step. Members presented the agenda of the chapter to the Vice Chancellor which was approved, Chapter body also informed about the three funded projects awarded to Civil, Metallurgy and Computer Science department students.
Vice Chancellor asked the chapter to register themselves for fund-raising in Saudi Arabia for UET welfare and briefed about the other chapters of UET Lahore and their contributions.
