Marwat says will meet Imran when he calls
"I have no contact with any party, if I meet anyone, then I greet him," says PTI MNA
ISLAMABAD: MNA Sher Afzal Marwat Monday said that there are many people spreading ‘confusion’ who are obstructing his meeting with the founding chairman of PTI Imran Khan.
Talking to the media outside the Judicial Complex here, he claimed that the entire leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is nominated in cases and that one day a PTI leader is in court, another day another leader is in court. He said that on November 26, vehicles were also snatched from them and cases were also made against them, wondering why the founder of PTI should apologize for November 26.
In response to a question with regards to the terrorist incidents and other issues in Balochistan, Marwat said that if the government had been conscious, then peace would have prevailed in the province.
Regarding the possibility of joining any party, he said, “I have no contact with any party, if I meet anyone, then I greet him”. A few weeks back, the outspoken lawmaker was thrown out of the party for violation of the discipline and policy lines. About the chance of meeting with Imran Khan, Sher Afzal Marwat said that he will go to meet the founder of PTI when he calls.
