Man commits suicide
HYDERABAD: A former media worker, struggling with domestic issues, took his own life in the GOR Colony area of Hyderabad on Thursday.
Amir Pathan, 35, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself. Neighbours discovered his body and shifted it to the Civil Hospital. According to GOR SHO Imtiaz Lark, Amir had an argument with his wife three days prior to the incident, which led to a public altercation.
Following the dispute, his wife left home. The police visited the neighbourhood at the time but later received information about Amir’s suicide. Amir previously worked as a cameraman for news channels but left the profession five years ago. His former colleagues, Shahid Malik and Adnan Zai, stated that when they met him recently, they learned he had taken up shuttering work.
