Islamabad:A delegation from Karachi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education visited the federal education board offices to gain insights into the advanced e-marking and optical mark recognition examination systems.
The visitors, led by Dr Naveed (Secretary), Zaheer Uddin (Controller Exams) and Muhammad Irfan (Director IT), engaged in detailed discussions with FBISE experts about the implementation, benefits and challenges of these technologies.
FBISE officials, including Bashir Khan Yousafzai (Director IT Management), Fatima Tahira (Controller Test Administration) and Aqeel Imran (Controller Test Evaluation), provided an in-depth presentation on the operational aspects and advantages of the e-marking and OMR systems, highlighting their impact on the efficiency and accuracy of examinations. The visitors also went to IT department, printing and scanning section, IT Cell and examination store, and met with FBISE chairman Dr Ikram Ali Malik, who promised full support and cooperation for modernising the examination process. Dr Malik praised BISE Karachi’s efforts to enhance its examination system through technology and emphasised the importance of ongoing cooperation between the two boards.
